About the ranking, the Reputation Score and the method
The monthly measurement of the largest car dealer groups in the Netherlands (60) and Belgium (44) on reputation behaviour: what they actually do with their Google reviews. Everyone is measured with the same formula. Per country we publish the top 10 by name and score; the others get their position and figures on request, only for their own organisation. Netherlands: 1,882 verified Google profiles and 302,352 reviews. Belgium: 887 profiles and 203,880 reviews.
The Reputation Score (0-100) combines what customers say (average stars, review volume) with what the group itself does (response rate, response time and the complaint gap). The ingredients are public, the exact weighting is not. It is the same scoring model customers see in the Repmanager dashboard; there the score is more detailed and also covers sentiment and your own response target.
Public Google reviews of the locations of the measured groups: 1,882 profiles in the Netherlands, 887 in Belgium. Every profile can be traced to the group's official website. The window is a rolling 12 months; the current month never counts.
Every figure is counted, not estimated. The profile list is version-controlled, we track mergers and acquisitions in a public register, and the figures are validated against official location pages. Spot a factual error anyway? Email us; we correct proven errors visibly.
The complaint gap is the share of negative reviews (1 and 2 stars) that get no public reply from the dealer, measured within the edition's 12-month window. It is one of the five ingredients of the Reputation Score.
No. Every group is measured identically on the same public Google data, customer or not. There are no labels, no advantages and no removal on request: a single exception would make the whole index worthless.
Every month. The measurement window then moves on by one month. From edition 2 you will see each group's movement since the previous edition and its score history.

Per country the index follows the largest dealer groups: 60 in the Netherlands and 44 in Belgium, based on Google profiles and review volume. We process mergers and acquisitions every edition, so groups can enter the index or be merged. Other countries will follow.
