What exactly does Rep Shield do?

Rep Shield checks incoming reviews before an automated AI reply is published. Reviews involving spam, sensitive topics, legal signals or urgent complaints can be held back for human review first.

When does Rep Shield hold back a review?

You can largely decide this yourself with configurable rules. Reviews can be checked based on sentiment, star rating, language, spam, urgency, location or specific topics that require extra attention within your organisation.

Can Rep Shield be configured differently per location?

Yes. You can set organisation-wide rules and adjust them per location. This is useful when certain locations have a different risk profile, contact person or escalation process.

What happens to a review that is held back?

A held-back review is not automatically answered by the AI. Depending on your settings, it can be kept for manual review, forwarded to a colleague or sent as a notification via email, Slack, Teams or a ticketing system.
